Per his presser. As usual, they couldn't afford him. Would have helped a great deal with the Hardy mess. Him and C J.would have been interesting. Peppers said he did consider coming back...but I guess money talks when your nearing the end of a career. Would have been nice to have him this year.

Main reason he went to GB was to play 3-4 OlB. Money helped though.

I agree that his price tag was way to high...It was just a dream of having a hint of a pass rush this year.Did R R ever admit to checking him out...I don't recall.

As long as Gettleman is at the helm, unless something flukey happens (like this year with Hardy AND Alexander) we will probably always have a decent pass rush.

20/20 but it will turn into a better deal then the 1 year 13 mil that Hardy got.

I can't really blame DG for what's happening with Hardy. Had he been playing and performed like he did just last season he'd be worth every bit of that 13 million. Peppers on the other hand has almost no chance to live up to the $26 million deal he got, he hasn't been elite for some time now.

No it won't.

The 13 is off the books at the conclusion of this NFL season.

If the Packers cut JP at the end of the NFL season, they will have 5million in dead money next season.
