Garbage.... a fine to a guy making millions is a pittance. They will see this as simply just a cost of doing business. It will be worth a little fine to them, if they can take out an elite player. Make Burfict sit out a game. Him and other players will think twice before doing this stuff, WAY more than a fine.

25k for a guy that makes 5 million is pocket change. you still have 4.75 million to spend on whatever the poo you want. You still have plenty left over for everything else. "poo, I can't buy that Mercedes I wanted right away... oh well."

Yes you right, but you understood what i mean just that the fine is ridiculous for the money he got each month.

You can't suspend this incident, because then every team would be crying wolf on every tackle around the legs. It would set a bad precedent. He got a decent fine and will be watched under the microscope from here on out. That's all you can really expect in this situation.

We're not really talking 'first offense' here.

Burfict has already been fined multiple times (four times last season alone according to Florio).
