About what I realistically expected

Also, Vontaze will think he could wear the wrong color socks and get that tiny fine. So from his perspective, dirty play likely is worth the nominal fine. Maybe next time he will get better results

This isn't really going to do anything. He's been fined before, the only way you're going to stop an idiot like that is take him off the field.

Is the NFL too cowardly to take any action now after the Rice screw up?

You would think they would drop the hammer to prevent another backfire. Limp wristed penalties are why they are under scrutiny now.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
