Well's he's at that point. We haven't been picked to win a game all year.

We were almost unanimously picked to beat the Steelers.

Yeah I thought about that after the post, but that's literally the only game we were picked.  Good point though.

He did and no one is disputing that. He has to get to that point where people can say that because we have Cam, we have a chance to win. That is how I am beginning to feel about him this year, where despite our bad defense, having Cam gives us a chance to win.

Funny thing is he's given us a chance since he's arrived on day 1 after a 2-14 season and no offseason. We lost a butt ton of close games for different reasons but he's the most accomplished 25 year old in the history of team sports with the best skill set and only getting better. And no doubt, we will always have a chance with him.

So I guess 17 carries counts as unleashing Cam Newton, yes? Nice performance from the big guy, who in one game more than doubled his season rushing totals. The worry is the defense, which allowed 454 yards in Weeks 3 and 4, and 513 yards in Cincinnati.

 

The more I think about the defense the angrier I get. I mean Cason alone allowed 92yds and a TD on him. I'd say QB are picking on him more than Godfrey at nickle.
