that KB situation was the real issue with the tie... that call was garbage and the only reason we tied. we beat them.... them missing the kick well after the fact is just further confirmation. clearly the refs took time off even after the plays. nice gifs

Yea, I agree.  It was less a push-off than it was getting the guy to stop holding onto him.  But it wasn't the most egregious error the refs made that day, so whatever.

I thought for sure that flag they threw on KB's 2nd would-be TD was going to be defensive holding considering how strict they've been on that this year.

 

It was ticky tack as hell, and just the fact that it could've been called either way yet called it against us is BS.  Should've just let them play through it.  That was the game-deciding call.

Also I feel like the issue with cj, in addition to his hip, is the weight he lost. He was more of a power move de and can't push tackles back a quickly now. He might be gaining some of his strength back as the season progresses

KBs on the refs radar for pushing-off,he was warned about this particular issue during the preseason,hes got to be careful

I see WR's do a lot worse in every game and they never get called for that. The refs are starting to decide games way too much lately. Did anybody see that HORRIBLE penalty against the Rams where they called Cook for offensive pass interference? That penalty call ultimately was a big reason why the 49ers were able to come back. Not to mention that they aren't consistent with their calls. One play they will be quick to call defensive holding. The next play, they will let them play it out. It is getting to the point where you don't know what is a penaly anymore.

Those refs yesterday sucked,it took them forever to make a decision over a freaking field goal the entire game, pretty elementary officiating,since you are standing right beside the goal post,geeez.

Yeah, that KB push-off was BS!

I re-watched the game at home yesterday and the sad part is, they were supposed to be enforcing the "5 yards" no contact rule. Yet, 6 yards into the play the CB puts his hand on KB's shoulder.

KB returns the favor, then swings his arm under the defenders arm to get position.

You can clearly see the CB has KB's arm at the elbow, at the 2 yard line, and KB swings his left arm in to get him off him.

Yes, KB pushed off a bit, come on.

Guess it's always "if the wide receivers arm is full extended, they'll call it every time"...

Not really. Fozzy had the extreme outside, Bell was supposed to stay where he was. Bell knew Fozzy would be there to help so he let him go and stayed put in case there was a blitzing linebacker.

Bell manhandled Burfcit on that last drive whenever we reached Cincinnatis 23 yard line in OT,he was trying to take him to the parking lot,i reckon.

If one play decided the outcome of the game it was that bad call.We would have been up big and the final score would have probably favored us. Just a total BS call.
