Sure it would. Burfict did what he did because he was trying to cause extra pain and injury for no real reason. I, on the other hand, would be punching Marvin Lewis which is a perfectly noble exercise and, in several minor religions, is a necessary ritual for the celebration of life.

Yea, Lewis handled that terribly. That will be used against him when Burfict is suspended. He should responded "we will review the tape and decide for ourselves if anything out of line happened."

Or just pawn it off on the league and say "they will look at it and let us know"

Lewis the one that coaching his players to try and snap ankles after each play..    it's why he's trying to pass it off as no big deal.......and making jokes.

I believe there was definitely some type of bounty on Cam. Burfict wasn't the only one going after his ankles/going low on his knees.
