QBs have a rating of 113.1 when throwing at Cason in 2014

Cason also fugged up big time yesterday when he poorly batted a ball and it still got to Sanu. Bengals ended up getting 3 when it easily could've been 6 the other way.

 

He got a hand on the ball. Not much else he could have done. I blame White more because after Cason tipped it White went for a pick instead of just batting it down. But either way it was just an unlucky play and a great catch by Sanu

Melvin and Norman should be starting corners and Cason as nickel while Bene is out.

You have to be able to tie this into what our defense is trying to do and which is not get beat deep. That means if you don't have the catch up speed ability, play off man and keep everything in front of you, then come tackle after the reception. That means any sharp QB will complete all or most of his passes against any of our DBs.

Casons good but hes not a #1 melvin is not bad but hes not that good . Wish we still had captin munnerlyn him and cason would be a good combo

If I had to pick id go with a different combo then every one, might sound crazy but id go with bene and norman as cbs and cason in the slot .

Big play bene is the best bet we got at cb

Cason drove me crazy against Cincy.  Dude would watch a receiver catch the ball and then just stand there watching him pick up addition YAC seemingly hoping the receiver would simply run into his waiting arms.

Cason is great against the run but it's pretty obvious he gets torched in the passing game.  Norman White and Bene have been our best corners this year in my opinion.

Antoine Cason is trash.  I can't believe there are people saying he has been solid this year.

I want to see what the rating of throwing at Godfrey is, whatever the highest possible rating is I guarantee it's that. It'd put money on it

Let's start with this, Cason has not been great. But we play a ton of zone concepts and in some cases allow the completion by design. So I don't want to use numbers from a website that doesn't understand his responsibilities. 

 

But eye test, he's not been playing great.
