Everyone wearing Beats gets fined $10k. Bose is the official sponsor of the NFL.  I am sure that Bose pays quite a bit to be in an exclusive partnership with the NFL. Get caught advertising another company on TV, Beats pays the fine, move along.

Sponsorship violations and on field misconduct have nothing to do with one another.  

 

If you were the CEO of Bose and signed an exclusive $40M deal with the NFL for all coaches and players to wear Bose products while on the field, you would have no problem with the NFL doing nothing if players choose to advertise your competitor instead?

 

They can wear Beats headphones if they want, they just have to cover up the logo. Makes perfect business sense to me and the NFL is a big business
