Agreed. We aren't going to be able to fix all the holes on the OL or secondary or even front 4 right now. Our best bet is to try to add someone that helps us score more, if that's Williams then so be it.

Mike Williams is a legit #2 and we are kind of lacking a #2

 

Avant is a fine #3 and KB is a fine #1 but Cotchery, man. Williams can do everything Cotch can and better

Hey everyone who want's to trash this guy. A trade for this guy could end up being a Greg Olsen esque steal, not quite the magnitude. BUT LOOK AT THE GUYS STATS:

 

2010 he had 964 yards and 11 TD

2011 - 771 and 3 TD (meh)

2012 - 996 and 9 TD

2013 - 216 and 2 TD 

 

Last season was the only year he missed any time playing in only 6 games but when he is on the field he is proven to be a large target, big play reciever. Why wait to get a #2 in the draft when we can get him mid season. KB, Williams, Avant....

 

NOW, were cookin' with gas. I was high on Cotchery when we got him. Higher on him than Avant, but Avant has ended up being way better. Cotchery just looks old out there. GET MIKE WILLIAMS

We should play Bersin more.  He's done nothing but come in and make plays and he deserves more playing time.  Cam always looks his way when he's on the field and obviously trusts him.

There's no WR we could possibly add to put more points on the board. Your philosophy is just straight up wrong too. When you're giving up a shitload of points you gotta fix that poo. We're scoring more than enough to win games even with literally no run game. It's not even fathomable how you can think WR is a bigger issue than o-line, RB, d-line, safeties, corners. WR is literally the least of our worries other than QB and LB.

I wouldn't mind mike Williams he is better than everyone not named KB but I wouldn't expect anything and even if we did it would be months before he is up to speed.

He may be a slight upgrade but that contract for next year is bad for the production he would bring.
