Is it time Bersin replaces Avant?

Bersin is the guy you want at his spot on the depth chart. Moving him up more is too risky this soon.

Why not give Bersin the start for one game since Cotchery fuged up.

You can't be serious.  With that kind of logic, why not put DA in for Cam since he threw an INT.  If you replace every player the minute they make a single mistake, not a single player is going to want to play for this team.  Cotchery made one bad play.  But he also made a lot of good plays and he is a pretty good blocker in the run game.  He isn't getting replaced by Bersin.

Again Avant drops more passes than cotchery. Avant is damn near in benjamin territory with his drops. That might be the first pass I have seen cotchery drop. And just because you make one or two good plays as a vet you don't get a pass on droping easy balls.

That one pass might be the only drop i can remember Cotchery droping. We see avant drop 1-2 a game. Just be cause Cotchery droped one touchdown that makes him the worse of the two? Come one.

i dont think Avant has done anything to lose his spot, but Bersin seems to have some potential and things go well when Cam looks for him
