No. Avant has been clutch at times. Btw, why would Bersin replace him? If anyone, it would be Philly who replaces him. Bersin is at the bottom of the depth chart.

Not a overreaction or home town bias. Just judging from the play of the two,I think Bersin's play deserves more timing time. All he has done is produce when called apon. Judging from the two's natural ability I don't think avant offer's much more than Bersin and Avant has shown suspect hand's at times. Yes he caught a TD early in the season but had atleast two ugly drops today. I say let the young blood in there and see what he does with more chances to make plays.

 

I think a better question is "would 89 have caught that game winning TD?"  I think we all know the answer to that one....

The Cotchery hate is ridiculous. Yes, he had some bad drops today (very rare for him). He's been incredibly reliable and clutch for us so far this season.

We also don't know how much the defender screened Cotchery from seeing the ball.

Why not give Bersin the start for one game since Cotchery fuged up. Lets see what the kid can do at least. Doesn't have to be permanent but I wanna see what he can do for an entire game. So far he has ran great routes and caught every catchable pass.

Our real issue is we don't have a burner to beat guys deep.  Before anyone mention Philly Brown, I don't consider him to be a good candidate.  I consider him to be a gimmick burner, someone the defense just forgot to cover down the field than someone who just blows past guys with their speed.

Avant has dropped more passes than Cotchery. Seeing as they are almost the same player on the field. I choose Cotchery over Avant.

 

Maybe so,maybe not but is was certainly Cotchery not Avant that dropped a pass for a TD that would probably been the game winner. Just saying.

I haven't seen Avant drop much of anything. If anything, I've seen Cotchery drop more.

I'm absolutely fine with our WRs just as they have been.

 

Bersin looks good when he's in, but Avant and Cotchery have impressed me so far.

 

 

I'm with Panthro, KK not playing more is far more questionable than anything we're doing with the WRs.
