Cason in particular drives me crazy how he just stands around watching receivers gain additional YAC seemingly waiting for them to run into his arms. Godfrey is almost unimaginably bad. Dalton made a living off of him in the 1st half especially.

They aren't even the worst in our division. Hugh Jackson is a terrific coordinator with a good mix of weapons. We sucked today but that Bengals offense is good. Hugh Jackson owns Ron Rivera.

Harper is just slow as molasses...hes's actually surprised me with his hands though.

We knew they weren't any good tho...the problem is that we expected Hardy and Alexander to be there to clean up some of the tackling. Hard to replace the effect those guys bring.

Gettledog appeared to have made a mistake tho with losing so many players from that unit...if you can call it a mistake. He really didn't have a choice I guess. He needs to figure out a way to get some better players back there next season. No chance to do so this year....

Pay attention to these guys if you re-watch the game. They were running away from tackles today. They were shying away from collisions, and taking the long route towards players with the ball. I've never seen anything like it in professional football. 

 

It's bad enough that you're giving receivers 5-10 yard cushions, but after they catch it, you back up and then loop towards them to try to make the tackle, and they've picked up seven more yards than they should've gotten by the time you get to them.

 

Worst secondary in football if not ever. 

 

The only thing that saves them "statistically," is the few interceptions they've gotten. And Cason even bobbled that one, despite it being thrown directly to them. They looked scared. It was pitiful. 

 

Godfrey is too expensive to cut, but a league minimum guy would probably be a better player than he is right now.

Another genius would accept the obvious tongue in cheek nature of the comments and roll with it since there is no way of knowing which secondary is actually the worst in NFL history beyond statistics that will never tell the entire story and therefore don't tell you much of anything regarding the claim.

No, this secondary is suffering from a lack of a persistent pass rush.
