"Ron Rivera and the Panthers wasted a brilliant performance by Cam" - NFL.com

Two turnovers v. one turnover have much more weight in reality... regardless of your stat, watch the game.

Last time I checked, QB rating doesn't include rushing stats.  You've attempted to exclude 100+ yds and a td from Cam's stats.  That doesn't work, as a stat lover you should know that.

Also, I don't remember 2 tds being called back that Dalton placed perfectly in the endzone.  I watched the game to form my opinion.  Stats don't play football... and fantasy football isn't real, and definitely doesn't tell the story.

Cam was the best player, possibly in the entire league today.  And you're talking about Dalton had a better game... lol.

I watched the game.  The thread is about the Panthers wasting a great game by Cam.  My point is that Dalton also had a very good game, which he did, and it was equally 'wasted.'  Just more pointless crying from people with tunnel vision.

Please inform me how Ron screwed us? I didn't see him drop any passes, throw any interceptions, have short kickoffs or miss a slew of tackles. Get real dude.

I do agree way to many mistakes can hurt a team but this team isn't suffering from that issue. If one looks back at the past four games, it's clear that bad coaching has hurt this team.  And the mistakes only makes it more harder to watch.

Well said and I agree whole heartly. Ron Rivera was coach of the year in 2013 for a reason,I don't think he just woke up one morning and forgot how to coach. He has a team that is made up of a lot of undrafted players and low budget fill in's because of the salary cap hell Hurney got us in. You have to realiize that a lot of posters on the Huddle(claiming to be fans) love to piss, moan and point fingers, trying to place blame and really don't know where to direct it.

Believe me I have seen enough of the poster who originally wrote this to know not to take it seriously. Greg Hardy is suspended. Both of your overpaid running backs are hurt. You still have dead money in both Jon Beason and Steve Smith who are no longer on this team. Not many places you can go to improve.

I don't know about this. For the most part, since he has arrived the Panthers FO have been adamant about drafting and spending team resources on his side of the ball. He got the job, not because he is some great motivator or great leader of men, he go the job because he is supposed to be a defensive guru. He is supposed to do more with less.

I have no idea why we have him as HC only to constantly draft defense while our offense needs major work.

The money that has been spent on his side of the ball that you are referring to is Greg Hardy, Thomas DeCoud, Roman Harper, Colin Cole, Chase Blackburn, and Antoine Cason. All the draft picks that have gone to his side of the ball are Star, Short, Klein, White, Boston, Bene, and Ealy, I can go through all of these players and tell you why a majority of them are nothing to write home about and how Greg is suspended. It also takes young rookies some time to develop.

But this is a Panther's board and the article is about Cam, ur QB, and the coaches. Why are u even including Dalton? Did the writer mentioned Dalton? Man, some of u Panthers fans kill me with how quick you are to defend and even include other QBs when the discussion is about your own but will trash Cam in a heartbeat. What gives with you?

Damn, for as much mistakes as Eli makes, I will not be throwing under the bus for any other QB. Especially is he is doing way more than he should as a QB like Cam is.

Who has the most Rushing Yards on the Panthers' team today?

So Dalton's performance and Cam's performance are comparable?  I strongly disagree.

There is no rationally objective way to come away from watching that believing their performances were equal.

Cam ~400 yards of offense and 3 tds, 1 to

Dalton 350 yards of offense and 2 tds... and 2 to.

That isn't equal... I used stats, hope it helps.

I have followed this team for five or six season's now and every season many fans make the same excuses as to why this team cannot seem to get it together. The Seattle Seahawks could be called a team of ragtag players, yet they made it too and won the SB. Clearly, there is more to a team than just the talent of the players.

lol Russell Wilson, Percy Harvin, Marshawn Lynch, Bobby Wagner, Michael Bennett, Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Russell Okung, Max Unger, and Kam Chancellor are so ragtag.

Talent killed us...do you really think Rivera has changed from last year? Our secondary is terrible and we aren't creating a consistent rush without Hardy and Alexander. You can't just replace an entire secondary with the assumption that the rush will make the secondary better...and then lose 25% of your rotation. Especially considering that 25% is probably actually 2/3 of the best pass rushers on the team.
