Cotch Killed Us

Imagine if Cotch catches that...Cam gets the luck treatment...instead.....we get....

That's all Cam did last year and nothing has changed.

All that matters is we know what kind of talent he is and it's now a matter of keeping him here and giving him more protection and talent at the skill positions.

Is it just me, or does it seem like everything in the passing game comes off the right arm of Newton. With few exceptions...here and there...if Cam throws the ball 10 yards and the WR catches the ball, the Panthers get 10 yards.

Cam had 280 yards passing, and 265 of them was through the air.

Lord, Benjamin can even turn a critical 3rd down throw into 1 yard.

Jesus, this offense needs play makers, and they need them BAD.

All we here about all offseason are how "sure-handed" our new vet recievers are, and he had 2 huge drops, including the game winner. Disappointed with his performance today. Also, Reeves is trash, but the rest of the offense looked great.

I can't get too upset about Cotchery's game-winning drop, when Gano missed a field goal in regulation that might have kept them out of overtime altogether. Whenever I see something like that Cotchery drop, I wonder why that play wasn't drawn up for Benjamin to be the one in that situation, and I just get pissed off at the coaches. Cotchery belongs on crossing routes. Benjamin belongs in potentially game-winning jump ball situations in the endzone.

Should Cotch have caught it? Yes, but there's plenty of moments (for both teams) where the game could and should have been won/lost, that's just one of them

You are correct of course, although fans tend to remember the things that happen when the game is on the line more so than the things that happen early.

Multiple mistakes were made by multiple players on both teams.  I am sure there are Bengal fans pissed about all the penalties, Dalton's big int's, their defense's inability to slow down Cam, etc...That is the way it goes sometimes.

I honestly rather see Fozzy back there than any other back. He runs hard and can catch out of the backfield

So true man. He made quick cuts and decisions and didn't go down on first contact. Not to mention (like you said), he is really good in passing downs too. If only he could stay healthy.
