No, it doesn't. There are no rational scenario where we miss the playoffs on a 12-3-1 tiebreaker.

I was referring to your hypotheticals regarding what the outcome would have been if this player was in, or that player was out.

 

And they TIED! It doesn't matter who you think is better. You can hold your breath and stomp your feet all you want, but Shula was not the weak link in this game.

Sigh... this thread just makes me sad... Complaining about a tie because they wouldn't go for it on 4 & 1.

And I call bs on those that say they wouldn't have been mad if the offense had gone for it not gotten the yard. The history of this place says that's a lie.

You play to win. A tie is a loss in my books.

People that are ok with the tie are most likely the same kids that lived for the orange slices and juice boxes at halftime during sports games when a little kid.

Anyone who's competitive is not ok with a tie.

Shula is the weak link in every game...Cam is just more healthy now....that's the difference.

What's concerning to me however is the overall picture. All the years he's been here. We have yet to establish ourselves as a consistent playoff team, a consistent winner. And we have Cam Newton as our QB. I feel like he's being wasted a little bit. If I jump on the fire Rivera wagon, I'll judge him over the years, not just this one game

his d sucks because we have a GM who wants to sign rag Tag free agent Dbs For As Cheap As possible

 

Dude don't totally blame DG for all this. He had to make a choice on Hardy during the off season to resign him or not before Hardy got in trouble. Then there killing our cap right then and there. Then DG hands got tied because we didn't have a lot cap sign anyone good. We had to take what we could afford. But I seeing our first 3 picks of this year draft going towards CBs and safties. We need to spend the first pick an outstanding CB if there is one at the time draft and worth taking. Depends on how deep this year draft will be at CB.

Agreed...he's only had 1 good year...this year could still go either way obviously
