in that situation maybe 1 or 2 coaches out of 32 go for it and its 50 50 if you fug up on that its way worse than your d losing it for you instead of a tie...its politics sometimes he has to worry about what the highest percentage tells him and sometimes settle for the tie is better than gamble to win/lose

I am actually impressed with RR due to the fact Cam didnt start the season,we lost Hardy and Alexander at the DE position minus one game thus far,a starting backfield just riddled with injury week in and week injuries to our linebackers,media distraction and i can continue to go on and on about defincies in our secondary and oL.and i can only imagine what an uphill battle coaching this team would have been like,yet alone achieving a 3-2-1 record and first in their division.furthermore,he had already took a big gamble in the game earlier whenever he went for it on 4th and 2.so,good luck finding a coach thats better than what we have already.just my 2 sense,is all.

One more other thought about Ron Rivera,is that he is the reining coach of year last season and had to deal with very few of the aforementioned issues that i had discussed in my last post.and if you truly want find out the true core of a person and their abilities,then see how they handle adversity,do they crumble or do they stand vigilant?
