Cam Newton MVP

what about the Olsen touchdown that easily could have been? Or the Cotch out route? Or a couple to Bersin and Avant? He played good but he's better than this. Man you people are quick to judge

So nitpick all of the "bad" throws... and ignore all of the plays he made?  He had 100 yards rushing and a td... as the QB.  That's included in the "critique" as well, it's about his entire body of work.  What about the perfect ball to KB that "could have been" or the almost TD pass in OT that "could have been."

I watch a lot of football, and every QB in every game has a couple throws they want back.  Only here does every "bad" throw become unforgiveable.

He played great besides a few errant passes... but guess what, there isn't a QB in the league who doesn't have quite a few of those a game.  I thought he laid most of his passes right on the money.

Homework for ya... watch a couple of games this evening and see if you see a few errant passes.  It's the status quo for the position.  How about some help from his teammates to make him look good.

What "could've been" if he had a little help is 3 tds passing, a win, and 100+ yards rushing and 1 td... and a 4th quarter comeback which are so highly valued.  That's MVP pedigree, and those are MVP numbers... don't be silly.

no I'm just not the type to give him MVP recognition when he doesn't play his best game. I don't even know why I'm wasting my time with you people

People only have one "best game" in their entire career so that criteria is terrible.

Did Cam play the best game he has ever played in his life? Probably not, I think that game he had against the Eagles a couple years back was probably better.

Did he have a fantastic, MVP caliber game? Obvously.

both Andy Dalton and Cam looked good today. Was a fun battle to watch other than how we didn't get another drive to win it

Dalton - 34 of 44 (77.3%) for 323 yds 2 TD 2 INT, 93.3 rating

plus 25 yds rushing

As for Cam, he is so awesome to watch when he runs. If we had three Cam Newtons we would be unstoppable

O yeah you are right because Tom Brady doesn't miss throws. Brady is also capable of running for 100 yards. In addition you claim Sanu should be the mvp but he dropped a pass in overtime. Dude really?
