Simplify the D line assignments... and run a cover 2 man. they will give up on the quick game and we may stand a chance. otherwise....quick game, then big play. wash, rinse, repeat.

You know where this team would be right now with Smitty on the roster?

The same damn place they are now. The wide receivers, tight ends, and QB on this team aren't the problem. Maybe you think differently, but I don't see how.

Why would we cut him just because of the punt returns? When he has came in as a receiver he has been good almost great.

 

I wouldn't say great.  He's been alright.  I haven't seen him do anything that anybody else couldn't do.  I didn't mention him concerning punt returns, but he's not great at that and struggles to catch the ball.  We can get someone who does that without the fumbles.  Yet concerning his kick returns, I don't see any burst in his game, and one hard lick I see him coughing it up.

Mikell and munnerlyn and Mitchell brought attitude to the secondary. Bunch of pussies brought in to replace them does not work. You're consistent with the bashing of Ron lol. I tried to lay off him because of last year, but that extension was just flat out bad. You dont give somebody an extension with one winning season, 2 losing seasons. There is no such thing as lame duck coach. If you win, you should have no worries

 

Yes I have been because he only started coaching somewhat competent when his job was clearly on the line...now he has that extension and he is back to terrible coach Ron...

 

With Rivera there has been more bad/herp than good...this season is really showing what he really is...I mean how about that challenge? I question his intelligence man he makes John Fox challenges look smart. 

 

He kept Shula around which shows more conservative play to not lose mentality...he's like a John Fox who can't win in the playoffs. Rather get a younger, offensive minded HC.
