Official Panthers - Bengals Gameday Thread

Jeremy Igo

Recommended Posts

It is gameday, and as such I present to you now our weekly gameday thread.

Who: Panthers at Bengals

Time: 1:00

Twitter: Be sure to follow @CarolinaHuddle on Twitter. I will be tweeting early from the sidelines.

Keys to Panthers Victory:

- Panthers defense needs to continue to force turnovers, which was the difference in the game last week.

- Kelvin Benjamin must make up for a poor performance last week.

- Keep the Bengals defense guessing with a few designed Cam Newton runs early.

Panthers fans are getting excited about AJ Green being out - and don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not complaining lol - but it hasn't been the WRs that have gashed us. It's been the RBs. I could def see a huge game on hand for Gio and Jeremy "sucker punch" Hill. Another big test for the D. Every single person is picking the Bengals. That's usually good for us. Play better when we aren't expected to win.

    • Pretty sure our whole D-line should actually be working for FedEx
    • This too If you take a CB in the Top 5, they HAVE to be a home run pick and be a decade long lock down corner.   That's why I've said I'd take T-Mac #1 over Hunter on either side of the ball, without a second thought. If someone wants to argue a pass rusher I don't know as much about, like the kid from I think Tennessee, then okay, I can't really argue that because we need a pass rusher and I know nothing about him.  But I know how long we've tried to find a true #1 WR and how rare it is to find someone with the size and talent of T-Mac and I think passing on him at any draft slot would be a mistake.
