I didn't follow what the Islanders did this offseason, aren't they still pretty bad?

As much as I'm a fan of the team, the pipeline really needs an influx of major talent, maybe a loosing season and the number 1 pick can help that....not much but it's a start.

Actually might be time to blow this up and see what you can get for the major players in draft picks at the deadline.

From what I hear, people think they have a playoff team.  So far that trade for Johnny Boychuk has been great.  He's been a huge contributor to them.
