Experts: Carolina Panthers would likely top Buffalo Bills’ sales price

Pretty good article

Even with a smaller stadium renovation, Vrooman said he doesn’t see the Panthers as a credible threat to move. That’s because they aren’t part of a group of lower-tier teams – San Diego, Oakland, Jacksonville and St. Louis – that are more likely to relocate.

“The team will not move now or in the future regardless of ownership, because there are no superior economic alternatives to Charlotte,” he said. “Any gains from an upwardly mobile move to a larger market would be taxed away by the rest of the league in the form of a relocation fee.”

This city has always had an inferiority complex when it comes to sports. I chalk it up  to not getting a pro team until the late 80s and having the Hornets moved away in 2002.

It doesn't help that our population has ballooned with Northern transplants that don't follow the team. Our die hard fans tend to be younger and younger people place a lot of emphasis on the media. Hence the inferiority complex.

They aren't going anywhere. There's money to be made there and that's all that matters. Buffalo is staying put too with their new owner. I see Jacksonville being the loser and moving to LA very soon. Oakland will stay put, for a while at least. St. Louis as well. It's hard to believe San Diego is on that list, but hey, such are the numbers.

These teams almost ensure there will be no expansion anytime soon. But I think we're fine with 32. Unless you have 3 divisions of 6 teams. 18 in each conference. 36 in the league. Toronto, Mexico City, San Antonio or Austin, and Vancouver.

Honestly, it'll probably be San Diego that loves. That stadium is one of the worst im the NFL, and San diego has been in all sorts of poo the past few years.

In the next two years, the Chargers move to LA and the Raiders move to San Antonio.
