I would love it if we had CJ Spiller or Mark Ingram. Most of the guys on that list weren't in pro style offenses like Gurley is. Guy can pass pro too.

Not all those guys are bums either. Sometimes I wonder how great JSTEW's career would have been if not for all the injuries.

I loved CJ at Clemson, but there is no way the dude could carry the rock by himself for a whole season. He was injury plagued early on and is used as a role player and change of pace to Fred Jackson. Worth a 1st rounder?

Ingram has shown nothing in New Orleans. They had 3 RBs the past few years with Sproles getting majority of work due to system.

Thats the problem with RBs now, I think they get either so over worked in the college level that they can only last a few years in the league ( of that list only 8 are still active in the leauge some of which are in their last legs (no pun inteded). Or they go early to save the tred on their tires and are underdeveloped and can't do what is asked of a pro RB with a pass happy league now.

Not no but he'll no when do you ever learn we have way to Many holes to be drafting running backs

After OT and maybe SS, I'd have to say that RB is probably next on the list.  You could make a case for DE or speedy WR, but honestly, RB is a top-3 need for this team.  I agree with MaulClaw, if we're staring at reaching for an OT or drafting the best RB prospect in quite some time, I have to look at giving Cam that huge Peterson/Jamaal Charles type back.

Ideally, a top-notch LT is there for us and represents BPA, but looking at the early mocks, it looks top-heavy and then thins out where we are projected to pick.  In hindsight, how would this team be if we went Moses/Bintonio instead of KB13 in this past draft?

It doesn't matter what you think is best for the team. How many goddamn times are we sitting here and critiquing these picks when they're made? From Cam to Kuechly to Short to Ealy to Benwikere. Whatever suits the team best for the long haul.

And a first round RB suits this team the best? A first round Left Tackle or CB would help this team more than another 1st round rb.  Which we have 2 on the team now.

RB is the biggest hole on the roster, especially with DWILL and Stew coming of the books soon.  I know everyone is petrified of rbs because of Hurney, but having Gurley on a 4 year rookie deal with a team option is an amazing exit strategy.  We've already seen some top picks at Tackle get abused.  Eric Fisher has done nothing with Kansas City.  Jake Long has already gone down.  St Louis is a losing team with Greg Robinson.  Jacksonville has given up 21 sacks this season with Luke Joeckel at LT.   The guys that seems to be doing the best right now is Joel Bitonio and I believe he was a second rounder.  There's no reason why we can't address T in the second round and through FA.

I don't know what I am more disappointed in. Taking a RB with a 1st or the amount of people supporting it. You guys realize that he isn't a sure thing. Just look at Richardson. The last RB that was really worth a 1st rd pick AP in 2007. Have you guys forgotten about the OL? He can't run through a wall of 300lb fat dudes.

Are you telling me that a cb would be more important then lets say a guy like Marshawn Lynch.  Because that's who Gurley is like.

Ingram is running very well right now, and Spiller is having a good year.  Spiller, and Jackson have suffered through having no decent qb until recently and that's still up for debate.

dude bpa all day . Just look at the jags they passed up on jj watt because they had holes at qb and took gabbert , this guy gurly has crazy talent , he will be a top 5 rb after his rookie year .

Runningbacks like him dont come around often hes another adrian peterson

RB is a RB.

Sure he has talent....but he wouldn't do diddly behind our OL.

If we want a real rush attack we need to build our OL. Not draft a tall RB that likes contact.
