"Wide receiver is not a problem" [Phrase should be banned]

Well, I didn't say that either, and furthermore for the record I thought that the receiving corps would be better also. The only problem that I saw with the corps is a need for a legitimate, vertical-threat play maker to play WR2. And nothing has changed.

most people are very aware of that.

tj graham? lol

THIS TIMES A MILLION!!! I get it guys, Luck screwed us and stayed at Stanford. But lets face it, he is a great young QB, probably the best young quarterback in the league. I saw Teeray on twitter last night say that he is a very good quarterback but also very overrated. Seriously???

Name 5 QB's who are playing BETTER than Luck right now!!! Please do it. Peyton, Rodgers, Rivers, maybe Wilson? That's probably it. The guy brings it home or away no matter who he's throwing to. And here's a little secret, sssshhhh, don't let anyone hear it, but he's better than Cam right now.

We have to end this silly feud that we have with Luck and Wilson too. It makes us look like a petty, uneducated, and narrow minded fan base.

So just stop. Luck is an amazing QB. Wilson is unreal. Cam is great too, but I'm sorry, right now, today, those guys are just simply better. Period.

Luck is the boss but not the one read and run Wilson. He's in the pocket only when he can throw his screens and out routes. If it's not there he's running. He has ways to go.

We had Ginn last year and it didn't help that much. But you don't mean Cam needs a Ted Ginn, you mean Cam needs a Deshaun Jackson or TY Hilton. Yeah, well..sure. Get in line...and pick up a couple of Megatrons while you're at it.

If screens and out routes can net you a career 102.1 passer rating, a 3:1 TD ratio, and a Lombardi Trophy then I would love for Cam to start doing it more often.

I am always a bit surprised that people think Luck has more support than Cam argument. Support doesn't always have to come from the offensive side of the ball. Our defense held the opponent's team to 15.5 pts a game last year which is the best support you can get. Luck can score 30+ points and still lose the game. Cam just needs 2 TDs and a field goal.

This is actually a great point to bring out. But Cam Newton and Andrew Luck for the sake of comparisons.... are not being compared on how they win games... but how they perform individually. I think they're both great quarterbacks... but to the masses, when your success is being measured In large part by your individual numbers... then the narrative will always be In favor of the person who has the tools. Barry Sanders was a better talent than Emmitt Smith, but Emmitt won more championships and (for the sake of the numbers) had a better career.

With respect to our Defense... right now we're hovering around being ranked 22. We've allowed 120 points (24 points a game avg.) And as great as Luke is.... the absence of Greg Hardy is obvious. But nobody is blaming Luke for the defense struggling. 2 TD's and a field goal (17 pts) wont cut it if we're allowing 24 pts.

I'm not talking about giving Cam anything extra special... but we can start with something we gave Luke.... a line.

And why do you say Wilson is limited as a pocket passer?

Because he's never beating you from the pocket. He runs when his first read is taken away. I mean the comeback against Denver, he run for almost all of the first downs. Against the Redskins, he run most of the time and his best throws came on bootlegs and scrambles. Nothing impressive from inside the pocket.

You think that's because his O-line is shaky?  I mean, what's the reason in your opinion? He just can't do it? What?

This post makes you look "uneducated" and "narrow minded". Don't be a Billy Boxscore! Watch the games and you'll see why alot of us don't feel the same way.

If you watched more Indy games you'd understand that Luck IS overrated by the media. No one is saying he isn't good but the media has already crowned him the next best thing and right now I can't honestly say he is.

Luck and Wilson were put in the best possible positions to succeed. Luck for the most part had all day in the pocket last night and still threw some very questionable passes. Wilson is good too but he sure doesn't have to do much in order to win. He still relies on his legs more than his arm, something many of you said and bashed Cam for.

IMO Cam is a better pocket passer than both Luck and Wilson. Wilson makes some nice touch throws and is great on the run but isn't often asked to make alot of these tough throws Cam does. Cam can make ANY throw from the pocket and is often asked to put it in the smallest of windows. Cam has the arm strength and accuracy to do it as well. We see time and time again what Cam can do with a decent pocket and average to below average weapons.

When ranking these guys you must factor in the players around them and ask yourself who gets the most out of what they have to work with? IMO that's Cam.

Oline is a scapegoat most people use for scrambling QBs. Last season, Vick was taking a pounding but all of a sudden Philly's oline became on of the best in the league when Foles came in. If you know where you're going with the ball, oline shouldn't be much of an issue. I mean it's the same line blocking for Lynch. Run blocking and pass blocking are different but the two cannot be that badly far apart.
