"Wide receiver is not a problem" [Phrase should be banned]

The jealousy is strange. If Cam was leading the league in yds and Tds he will be praised by the media. It happened with Stafford when he led the league a couple of yrs ago in yds.

Whether u want to believe it or not, Luck is looking like the best QB in the league right now and has the stats to back it up. I'm done hating on him.

Some of you dumb fugs think you can fix an entire roster in one offseason in the salary cap era and that's just not how it is.

I'm pretty sure we would sign a TY Hilton like player if we could...

No one said we could, smart guy.  Just stop perpetrating like a deep-threat play-maker wouldn't help out the team like so many other Huddle ostriches.

i dont think i've read anybody say we don't need someone to go along with benjamin.

actually i don't think anybody has posted that. what people are saying is THIS year the wr position is not the problem everybody thought it would be

Put Luck on this Panthers team behind our abysmal oline and I could only imagine the number of picks he would throw.

Luck constantly has 4 to 5 seconds, sometimes more to throw the ball. It's like I am watching Tom Brady and the Pats line from around 2008.

Who would you have wanted to sign that was a FA?

It's not necessarily about FA, but watching who becomes available (or may become available), Like You said, you can't fix everything in an offseason. But, you can take a chance on some fliers if and when they become available.

I would have signed T.J. Graham when he was cut for example.

Well, I didn't say that either, and furthermore for the record I thought that the receiving corps would be better also. The only problem that I saw with the corps is a need for a legitimate, vertical-threat play maker to play WR2. And nothing has changed.

Here's the thing about the Luck vs Cam argument.

The reason it exists is because many Panthers fans wanted Andrew Luck over Cam... even after Cam was drafted.

Cam had the greatest rookie year of any QB in NFL history. For Panther fans, for some reason, they took it personally that Luck didn't come out of college... even though Cam has wanted to play here. Cam is the heel. Luck is the darling. But Panthers have a particular hate towards Andrew Luck that Colts fans.. don't have for Cam. Because they don't feel shafted by Cam Newton... they don't pay any attention to him. Only Panther fans are tracking every move that Andrew Luck because their feelings are still hurt.

Andrew Luck is a great QB... but so is Cam Newton. They both have weaknesses and they both have areas of strength.

But here is where the comparisons end. Andrew Luck has what Cam has failed to get after 3 years... support.

The Colts are built around Andrew Luck's abilities. Because they know how to support a quarterback (see Peyton Manning). This organization has not given Cam what he needs to succeed. And as much as I think that Luke is a wonderful captain of the defense... Cam has NOT been provided with the tools or the personnel that can maximize his strengths. Two offensive coordinators with two different philosophies... retiring o-line, new WR corps (who wasn't that good anyway)....

Having said that... we're still 3-2 on top of the NFC South. Cam has played hurt and the defense has been off-track. Cam's numbers will not look like Andrew Lucks numbers this year because he's missed a game, played hurt, offensive side of the ball has suffered injuries to RB's and receivers... with a spotty line at best.... ??

Man GTFOH

I don't care about Andrew Luck. I stopped caring about him the minute we drafted our quarterback. Worry about what who we have and putting our team in a consistent position to succeed.

Doing to Andrew Luck what everybody else does to Cam wont change anything.

I am always a bit surprised that people think Luck has more support than Cam argument. Support doesn't always have to come from the offensive side of the ball. Our defense held the opponent's team to 15.5 pts a game last year which is the best support you can get. Luck can score 30+ points and still lose the game. Cam just needs 2 TDs and a field goal.

Andrew Luck makes TY Hilton look better than he is. No disrespect to Hilton, he's solid, but Luck is unreal. The hate he gets on here is insane.

THIS TIMES A MILLION!!!  I get it guys, Luck screwed us and stayed at Stanford.  But lets face it, he is a great young QB, probably the best young quarterback in the league.  I saw Teeray on twitter last night say that he is a very good quarterback but also very overrated.  Seriously???

Name 5 QB's who are playing BETTER than Luck right now!!!  Please do it.  Peyton, Rodgers, Rivers, maybe Wilson?  That's probably it.  The guy brings it home or away no matter who he's throwing to.  And here's a little secret, sssshhhh, don't let anyone hear it, but he's better than Cam right now.

We have to end this silly feud that we have with Luck and Wilson too.  It makes us look like a petty, uneducated, and narrow minded fan base.

So just stop.  Luck is an amazing QB.  Wilson is unreal.  Cam is great too, but I'm sorry, right now, today, those guys are just simply better.  Period.
