Are We Headed for a Fire Sale?

Why bother to keep Frank? He's a decent player, but the guy is smoking himself out of the league.

All I needed to see was JR fighting tears when talking about Hardy and domestic violence to know that we'd seen the end of him in a Panthers jersey.

How was JR crying defending hardy a clear sign to you that hardy is done? The organization from everything they've said has been in clear defense of Hardy.

It's more likely we see young better with a workable contract hardy over an old slowing down overpaid CJ.

What did you think the dumping of all those contracts was? If that wasn't a fire sale I don't know what is

We sure as poo had a dumpster with the WR corp. phase 1 complete.

Any early thoughts on how the draft position wise will look next season besides BPA?

I'm thinking

Round 1 OL

Round 2 LB

Round 3 WR/KR

Round 4 DB

Round 5 OL

Round 6 RB

Round 7 DB

Who did we dump?

We paused, and then we full retard spending on dudes that had been here for years.

We got rid of some painfully obvious guys. That was it. Outside of that we didn't so much.

In defense of Hardy? I guess that explains why Hardy is sitting out while Ray McDonald continues to play in SF.

Hardy would be playing today if he hadnt had his court date with the judge where he was found guilty...

Hardy has something against him McDonald doesn't. McDonald just has an accusation. Hardy has that something extra

I mean those cases are completely different and McDonald hasn't even been charged yet so I don't see how that has any relevance to hardy.

Gettleman has said they were never going to suspend hardy it was goodells choice to do so.

The panthers were playing him week 2 before media pressure. He would have been playing out the whole season if the rice video never leaked and the media didn't attack anyone ever related to that.

The team has been very clearly on hardys side

Still think this has everything to do with the conviction of first appearance awaiting appeal.

Media Went poo storm over bs first-look conviction vs what real trial entails. What was the front office supposed to do?

Does anyone think JR was fake-crying? Insensitive I know, but a legitimate question

Everyone realizes that as soon as Hardy filed for an appeal, that bench judge "conviction" was struck from the books, right?  He has a completely new trial by jury as provided by the Constitution.  From a legal perspective, that "conviction" never happened.  All Hardy has against him right now is an accusation as well.

I really can't grasp why this is so difficult to understand.  Hardy only has that nonexistent "conviction" against him because NC's legal system is completely back assward.

That doesn't change why Hardy isn't playing and McDonald is.

Yes we realize what the NC court system is.

You have to realize the nation isn't looking at it like that. That is what the NFL cares about. National perception is he already has been found guilty....The technical aspect that it is thrown out becomes irrelevant from a national view the NFL is dealing with
