American Horror Story - Freak Show

Episode three of the season is really started to kick up. Did anyone catch the Micheal Myers reference in the beginning of the show during the trick or treat scene with the little girl? How Twisty is standing kind of offset from the shrubery when they first show him. That and the POV when Dandy put on the clown mask. Patty Labelle made Dandy her bitch, though.

yes, yes I did. Halloween and H2 are my favorite movie...I usually watch them as one movie.

Where did you find that out at?

Not saying I think your making it up, I just wondered if you saw a preview somewhere or read a spoiler.

??? Did you watch it? The clown told Mordrake things like he gave the kids' parents candy when in reality he was stabbing them to death. It wasn't a secret. Then Mordrake called him out for being liar and killed him. It was all on-screen.

Maybe I didn't watch it too closely, I thought he was saying "I gave them a pretty babysitter and never made them do chores" as he was stabbing the parents.

I thought in his mind he as telling what he thought was really happening.

This is the interpretation I had of it as well. Killed the dude in the 'park' to get the girl as a baby sitter and the mother so the kids didn't need have to do chores.

He was a simpleton and his last words were "I don't understand" when Mordrake asked him to stand up just before he killed him.

This, and if I understood correctly, the freaks are physically unable to lie to Mordrake. He knows of they are lying or holding back if I understand correctly.

I see it like this: The others Mordrake questioned were guilty, even by  admission. None of them seemed to show any remorse or responsibility for their actions. Twisty, however truly didn't see what he was doing as bad or wrong. The children forgot they loved him, as he said. He felt no remorse for his actions because he was a "good clown". Mordrake made his decision of twisty because of this. He wasn't innocent, just ignorant with no moral compass.

The Twisty Dandy relationship was interesting to me. Twisty was fuging stoked to play that little keyboard as Dandy put on his show with no idea the guy is fuged in the head. I think it's possible Dandy may end up being more terrifying than Twisty.

Now that you reminded me, I thought Dandy looked familiar. I watched Halloweentown high with my kid the other night, and sure enough he was the main characters love interest.
