AJ Green leaves practice on cart

I'm typically not a stats guy, so I don't re-watch games.  I love the excitment that a live game brings on a Sunday afternoon.  But I had to find out what the hell happened to our team vs the bears.  Something switched on and the team really played with same intensity we got to see last year.

Maybe I was looking at the wrong things during the re-watch, but Luke and TD stood out that most.  Luke looked like the DPY from 2013 and held the RBs to what, 26 years in the 2nd half?

Maybe all of this is because of a missed bears field goal.  It's funny how football can do that.

Luke started shadowing Matt Forte. Once he was out of the equation, Juicy Jay had to beat us.

Even further proof of no respect just look how the media and fan bases have dismissed us after 2 losses. Bengals still think they can win this game easily even without Green.

man I hate to say it but the screw the world 49ers attitude is the way to go in the NFL... they sucked soooo long that when the time to turn it around came they said screw you all.... funny thing is the bandwagon came after all that hate... just saying!

Speaking of which...

Jay Cutler comes up small again with the game on the line

Yet you had hope in the last 15 minutes that Jay Cutler and the Bears would do something good and exciting down the stretch. And win.

What fools we are.

We were hoping for Aaron Rodgers at the end. Instead, we got Roy Rogers — falling off his horse, being crushed by the stampede, losing his big white hat in the mayhem.

Ouch

The article as a whole is pretty savage.

If you heard Bill Voth on the radio yesterday, he was of the opinion that it was more the Bears self-destructing than it was the Panthers manning up.

Voth knows his stuff, but this is one time I'd like to hope he's wrong.

He may be right, but the team started playing better all around.  I don't care what the cause was, the offense was able to move the ball and the defense stopped their run game.  Blame it on the other team, but we got the win and that's all I care about.

okay no wishes a injury but come on fellas this is the NFL and injuries will happen and many team wins come from them... its ridiculous to say "I want to face them full strength" when we are far from that and they are intentionally trying to further injure injured players. it sure was all good with Cam's ribs and these were players making statements about hitting his ribs. injuries or not these teams are coming for your throats to get that win and ALL media sources will view your loss as if you were fully loaded especially when they hate your team... it sucks he may be injured but if he doesn't play Sunday I'm beyond cool and will eat wings and blue cheese cheese with surround sound.
