AJ Green leaves practice on cart

Bengals WR A.J. Green just got carted off the practice field. He let out an audible sigh as he rode off. (via @ColeyHarvey)

I get torn about players on different teams that are from the Charleston area.  A.J's from Summerville SC, so I like too see him do well, but I'm sort of happy if he's not on the field against us.  Same with Roddy White. (We went to HS together.)

When asked Thursday morning by Ross Tucker on Sirius XM NFL Radio if Green had turf toe, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis described the injury as, "a little bit more than that."

Green missed one game due to the injury and could miss several more after the exacerbation. The Bengals are already without tight end Tyler Eifert, and wideout Marvin Jones is slowly making his way back from a foot injury.

How can he be 100% even if he does play? He just reaggravated a pretty serious toe injury that's been bothering him for weeks. Even if he suits up Sunday there's no chance he is 100%. Toes are brutal on a WR that relies on speed, quickness, cutting, and getting in and out of his breaks.

Doubt he plays. They won't rush him back and risk a set-back.

You were right. Looks like he'll be out.

I just picked up Sanu. Hopefully, we beat them 41-14 with their 2 2 TD's coming from Sanu.

Great pickup. I thought about it but there wasn't anyone I was willing to drop and possibly lose for a guy I'm only going to stream for a week.

Sanu could have one of those types of Harry Douglas games from last year when Roddy and JJ were out. 14 catches for a hundred yards and a score. Big time game especially in a PPR.

Now, with that being said - I'll take a fantasy L and Panthers W every day of the week...but I'd be surprised (and I hope I get surprised lol) if he doesn't get around 20-25 points tomorrow in our PPR league

Quotes...

I know everyone will say "well, I don't really want him injured' or something like "I hope he's only out against us", but would you respect that attitude coming from another team's fan about one of our guys? I know I wouldn't.

At heart, it's being glad someone is hurt. The rest is rationalization. I can't get behind that.

Injuries happen in the NFL I'm not glad that he got hurt perse im glad because it gives us a better chance to win the game. He could miss the game for multiple different reasons and id still have the same stance. Im not celebrating that hes hurt just that hes not playing this week. There is nothing wrong with that

I don't differentiate those things.

As mentioned elsewhere, this is just one we have to disagree on.
