Does Hardy come back after 6 games?

Speaking to our podcast guest attorney Jeremy Smith the other day. He has had DV cases in Charlotte go over a year into two years awaiting a trial date. The likelihood of a November court resolution is slim to none apparently. This thing could run well into 2015 and possibly 2016. It's all up to the judge by the way, she controls her own calendar. She could choose to have the trial next week if she wanted, apparently.

So with that all in mind, do we bring Hardy back after six games off?

Do we?  Probably not.  Should we?  I say yes.  He would have served the time equivalent of the suspension as stated in the new NFL DV policy.  It seems the media/national attention on this issue isn't quite as fierce, so I would expect that the Panthers wouldn't face anywhere near the public pressure they had a few weeks ago.  With that being said, reactivating him could ignite another media crapstorm.

This is a tough one.

Yes because fug the world for picking and choosing which incident to conduct a witch hunt while forgetting others (McDonald).

No because if he comes in for a game or two, would the team better off with a rotation that would play through the season and get comfortable in their roles without Hardy looming over their heads?

He should be able to play now.  Ray Mcdonald is playing and I like what San Fran's owner had to say about it.   "We are trying to win a Superbowl, not a popularity contest".  People still seem to be showing up to that new stadium.  Hell, I seen women old and young still flock to Hardy at training camp.
