when asked to clarify his remark, Sherman said: "I mean exactly what I said."

Garcon responded by putting this up on his social media sites: "Silence, is the best reply to a fool"

during the game Garcon was seen pulling Sherman's long hair at least once. Garcon was only targeted 3 times, and he made 2 catches for 23 yds

from the comment section on NBC:

-“I AM STANFORD GRADUATE RICHARD SHERMAN BUT TALK LIKE I AM IN SIXTH GRADE”

-Don’t forget Richard, when your diaper is full, ask an adult to change it.

-keep the tissue box handy Richard.

-“Mommy, that boy pulled my hair”

-every time he opens his mouth he just makes himself look like an idiot

-Your team won, Sherman. Try being a little more humble in victory… I know it’s difficult.

-Sherman wants to be cool, but he just doesn’t know how.

-He speaks the truth. Though he forgot to include the rest of the Washington team, who also don’t matter in this league. Back to the basement!

-While Richard Sherman screams “Look at ME! I’m the greatest!”, Russell Wilson quietly goes about his business making Houdini-like escapes, taking real hits and basically winning the ballgame for Seattle.

-Not even a skins fan, but can Sherman be any more of a classless idiot?

-The Sherman Buffoonery Show Continues

-Does Sherman ever shut his mouth?

-If Sherman could flap his arms like he flaps his gums he’d fly away.

-Sherman’s like the villain in WWE.

-Richard- You just like a teacher in summertime.

You ain’t got no class.

-Love how Sherman always credits his front 7 for the pressure and his HOF safety…oh wait, no, its about ME ME ME ME ME

-Actually, it looked like Sherman didn’t matter on that D-Jax touchdown..

-It’s going to be great watching how Sherman takes

retirement. He’ll be the guy mumbling "oh it’s Richard Sherman!" to get attention.

I love Richard Sherman. Thank god it's not always boring canned responses.

Haha yeah same here.  I never understood why people get so upset with the "cocky athlete".  To me, it says more about the people complaining than about the athletes themselves.  While we are all equal as human beings, people need to accept the fact that skills are not evenly distributed.  There will always be people that are more intelligent, better looking, more athletic, and also more wealthy.  Everyone is a king in his own mind so people hate to be reminded of their perceived inadequacies.  I love when athletes are honest.  It's hard to be in the top 99.999% of men and not have a bit of an attitude (even if it is very well hidden).  Props to Sherm.

he didn't back it up when Desean ran by him for a td.

he also didn't back it up when he allowed Pierre Garcon to catch 2 of the 3 balls thrown his way (66.7%) for 23 yds (7.7 yards/attempt) for a QB rating allowed of 89.6 when they threw at Garcon. To be fair, Garcon is a good WR, he caught for 1,346 yards last year (top 8 in NFL)

and Sherman also didn’t back by being too weak to shadow the other team's #1 like better CBs do, allowing DeSean Jackson to go off for 157 yards and Kirk Cousins to shred the Seattle pass D for 283 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT, and a 102.0 QB rating

    • If we are going to spend the money anyway, maybe the signing is not as bad as it seems.  Mays outperformed Corbett (before his injury and if you go back to last year, Corbett has been below average) and then Christensen took the job and Mays quickly took it from him and never looked back.  He could use improvement reaching to the next level (LBs) but picking up stunts and blitzes---he was surprisingly good.  Run blocking needs some work, but he is 25.  Corbett, in my view, should be G/C depth and if Mays steps back, he is there.  Mays should start because this team is building for the future and 30 year old players are not building blocks.  We shall see.  That is how I think about it, but there are many factors we do not know. Having said that, I like what Zavala is doing, and I do not want to bring in someone who would take opportunities away from him.  Zavala was really good at RG down the stretch, and in limited duty, was awesome. In fact, we have a guard from the PS who played briefly and did well, but he only played a few plays.  He is 25 and I recall that fans of his former team were upset when we signed him.   Maybe as the backup center only (Corbett).  You need 2 centers to run practices efficiently.  I cannot say enough about the OL coaches on this staff.  What they have done is overshadowed by the Lewis / Hunt signing.  Mays, Ekwonu, Zavala--impressive growth.
