Hurney scouting dt

True but that's probably who they were looking at. I just don't know what we can give up to get him. I really like the guys we've got on the roster and I'm sure Hurnery does too, so it most certainly has to be a draft pick but a 3rd seems a little high for guy we are not sure could help right away.

i think its just speculation..the panthers have not mentioned corey williams the observer threw a name out there and everybody is running with it..for all we know hurney is looking at the scrub DT from the packers that wont make the 3-4 switch

He seems like an plausible option. He was traded from the Packers for a second rounder and via some quick research he had a 3 sack game as a DT. So this may be a case of a good player on a bad team.

I just want to make sure we grab someone who we know should win out the empty DT spot.

brayton is fine in meeks system. he is much faster than you think and has the pursuit needed. he needs fast and aggressive DEs and brayton fits that bill. his experience makes him more valuable.

we can't afford to get rid of anymore experienced vets on that line. we need him around. he's much better against the run than most everyone we have.

The Browns are set in most places on defense, they need a good 3-4 DE but their linebackers and secondary are good.

What they could really use is an offensive lineman, which we don't have to offer, or a good fullback, which I hope we don't offer.

I think if a trade is made it will be for a player, to free cap space, and a draft pick. I don't see it though--it would be sweet to get him and I would rather not get my hopes up. If he came here, he would immediately be our best DT and our line would go from a question mark to a strength immediately.

Just imagine Lewis and Williams both lined up in the one-technique--the run would go where we dictated and Beason and Davis would likely combine for close to 300 tackles.

Yeah that would be sweet. Williams is not only a run stuffer but he can penetrate the line on passing downs too. Thats how he got 7 sacks each year back in 06 and 07. If we get him and he picks up where he left off in 07, we may not need Kemo or Lewis anymore next season unless one of em is willing to take a pay cut and become a backup. As far as offering somone on the line...I think we could offer Vincent and we wouldn't suffer that much with Duke starting.

    • Because we’re the only team in the league that would keep starting an obvious bust for two years.
    • Agreed on all points.  And honestly, at this point, to add to the organizational integrity part, if we don't do everything we can to be competitive we risk not only the next #1 pick not wanting to come here, but also quality FAs and coaches.  It was already out there that some coaches didn't even want to interview here bc of Tepper.
    • Introduction to Nuts for Weight Loss Nuts are tiny powerhouses packed with nutrients that make them perfect for weight loss. They offer a unique blend of healthy fats, protein, and fiber, which contribute to their appeal. The monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats found in nuts can help reduce bad cholesterol levels. This heart-healthy aspect is crucial for anyone looking to improve overall wellness while shedding pounds. Protein is another vital component of nuts. It aids in muscle maintenance during weight loss journeys. Plus, the higher your muscle mass, the more calories you burn at rest. Fiber also plays a significant role by promoting digestive health and enhancing satiety. When you eat nuts, they keep you feeling satisfied longer—perfect when cravings strike between meals. How Nuts Can Help You Feel Fuller for Longer Nuts are a fantastic addition to any weight loss journey, primarily because they help curb hunger. Their combination of healthy fats, fiber, and protein creates a satisfying snack that keeps cravings at bay. When you munch on nuts, your body takes time to digest them. This slow digestion process means you feel full for longer periods. Unlike sugary snacks that lead to quick energy crashes, nuts provide lasting satiety. Moreover, the healthy fats in nuts promote feelings of fullness by triggering hormones related to appetite suppression. A small handful can work wonders when you're fighting off those mid-afternoon snack attacks. Including nuts in meals or as snacks can transform how you manage your diet. They not only add flavor but also an interesting texture that elevates dishes while keeping hunger under control. Boosting Metabolism and Burning Calories with Nuts Nuts are more than just a tasty snack; they play a significant role in boosting your metabolism. Packed with healthy fats, protein, and fiber, these little powerhouses can contribute to increased calorie burning. When you consume nuts, your body requires extra energy to digest them due to their complex structure. This process is known as the thermic effect of food (TEF). The higher the TEF, the more calories you burn. Moreover, certain types of nuts like almonds and walnuts contain specific nutrients that may enhance metabolic function. For instance, magnesium found in many nuts plays a crucial role in converting food into energy. Incorporating Nuts into Your Weight Loss Diet: Tips and Tricks Integrating nuts into your weight loss diet can be both easy and enjoyable. Start by choosing a variety of nuts to keep things interesting. Almonds, walnuts, and pistachios each offer unique flavors and benefits. Consider portion control as you enjoy these tiny powerhouses. A small handful—about 1 ounce—is often enough to reap the health rewards without overindulging in calories. Try adding chopped nuts to salads for an extra crunch or blend them into smoothies for added creaminess and nutrition. They also make great toppings on yogurt or oatmeal, enhancing both taste and texture. Delicious Nut-Inspired Recipes for Weight Loss Looking for a tasty way to include nuts in your meals? Here are some delicious ideas that can complement your weight loss journey.  Start with a nutty quinoa salad. Toss cooked quinoa with diced vegetables, chickpeas, and a handful of toasted almonds or walnuts. Drizzle with lemon juice for added zest. For breakfast, try overnight oats topped with crunchy pecans and fresh berries. The combination offers fiber and healthy fats to keep you satisfied throughout the morning. Snack time? Create energy bites by blending dates, oats, peanut butter, and a mix of seeds. Roll them into bite-sized balls for an easy grab-and-go treat. Conclusion Embracing the power of nuts can be an effective strategy for sustainable weight loss. These tiny powerhouses are packed with nutrients and healthy fats that not only promote satiety but also boost metabolism. By incorporating a variety of nuts into your diet, you can enjoy delicious flavors while reaping the benefits they offer. The key lies in moderation and mindful consumption. Recognizing portion sizes is essential to avoid excess calorie intake, as even healthy snacks can add up quickly. With a little creativity in the kitchen, you can whip up tasty nut-inspired recipes that satisfy cravings without derailing your weight loss journey.
