I couldn't care less about how they stack up to those two. I'm more interested in how they compare to recently departed and other rookies around the league.

I'm amused that an undrafted guy has, in five games, surpassed what a highly drafted guy took five years to do.  And it probably won't be long before undrafted guy #2 passes him as well.

But just to add to the pot, here's another comparison...

Traded for Jay Cutler - Two first round picks, a third round pick and quarterback Kyle Orton.  Chicago also got Denver's fifth rounder.

Traded for Greg Olsen - One third round pick

We will see benefits of Philly and Brenton for many years to come. Solid 2 and 3 in the making.

Bersin has worked his butt off, I wish him the best and I really hope you are right, but I get the feeling is Bersin is going to plateau soon. Hopefully that plateau is good enough to stick for a while because I really think its a great story.   Obviously I don't have the same insight as you so hopefully my gut is wrong.

More yards than Watkins?  That surprises me.

thank you Mr. Scot. you are amazing.

David Gettis stats?

I'm not that big a masochist

(Gettis was a source of some 'lively debate' here)

Good thread.

The ideal complement to a receiver like Benjamin is a speed guy that defenses have to worry about every time he touches the ball.

I had been thinking we'd need to try and pick that up next offseason, but if Brown can develop into that then we can go after other things.

    • The SEC were not having GT upset Georgia at home. Horrendously corrupt officiating in this game - the non-PI on 4th down and the non-targeting call on the King fumble. Good lord.
    • I like how they were about to punt the ball right before the two minute warning before being like... oh fug, this'll be too obvious we gotta try a FG then ole boy skulls one that never got more than about 12 feet off the ground. LOL!
