This may come off as border line corny but I have wondered if we couldn't add a new dynamic to the start of player introductions. Something to be known for and get the crowd pumped. We all have heard and tossed around nick names for the stadium and the vault has always been a favorite of mine. With that said I envision just after visiting team announcement we should show a 3d vault door swinging open on the jumbotron. Have the camera move towards and into the vault then with a resound thud have the door slam shut. Have two Carolina Blue panther Eyes open and glean in the darkness then let out the "roar". It would give a feeling that we had just locked the visitors into a situation they do not want to be in. Then start the flames and let the team run in.

Anybody looking to intimidate on intros needs to go to Blacksburg Virginia for a Virginia Tech game to see how it's done. I got some tickets for a game with NC State a few years ago and they happened to be right in the middle of the State fans. They were in absolute awe of the spectacle leading up to the kickoff. It was amazing to hear their comments of why don't we do this poo, etc. I don't think there's a more intimidating pre-game ritual in the country, high school, college or professional...

I think play on the field is enough. If you need a dog and pony show before the game...you might not be very good. IMHO

This is more for the fans at the game to get pumped up. You all know our fans only stand (sometimes at that) for 3rd downs. I think we need to get crowd into the game even before the coin toss.

Well yeah, it's Virginia. That's the most riveting thing that State does all week. Of course the atmosphere is electric.
