Giants Release Trindon Holliday

Recommended Posts

Frank Alexander is not counting against the 53 man roster at this point. DJ Smith is back up LB. You want to replace a back up LB and special team contributor with someone who only returns kicks?

And you have a habit of not answering questions that are asked.

Yes? I thought that was clear by me posting.

Let me ask you something sharkkiller or anyone else that wants to chime in: What happens if Philly Brown muffs ANOTHER punt on Sunday? Still gonna keep him in? What is your limit here?

Rivera benched Melvin White for one bad game. What is so wrong here?

I do not know what the limit is, because I am not coaching the team. But I also know that bringing in someone who fumbles just as much, has lower return yard average, and does not contribute anything else is not the answer.

Overreacting does not solve any problems. Let the players play, and the coaches coach.

And he did not muff any punts yesterday, regardless of what you may think. The second one was a fumble, but he already had made the catch when that happened. Just a technicality, I know, but true none the less.

What difference does it make? Do you take away an interception because the receiver fell down? It was a return of a punt, regardless of the circumstances. He still had to outrun the other team to the end zone. Why would you take away a play just because it was not traditional?

point being, it was actually a fumble more than a return, but they gave him credit for the return.

Everyone had given up on the play and had reserved themselves to standing outside the pile if theu weren't already in it. The ball squeezed out, Philly caught them sleeping... it wasn't like he was dodging on coming tacklers at full speed for 79 yards lol.

No you don't take it away... but, that was not a PR.

And I like Philly, I called for us to draft him so when we picked him up, I was ecstatic. But, he is scary back there fielding punts right now.

ok everyone needs to chill.....yesterday was the first day that philly actually grabbed his balls and said F it I am not calling fair catch....then he got smashed. After that he called fair catch way to early. I think he has good vision and needs time to develop.....but thats just me

Exactly, i think he just reallly wanted to return anything instead of seeing if it was a good idea first, he will get it.

I wanna play.

Philly's TD return was NOT a fumble. Nor was it a muff. He never touched the ball until he picked it up. The ball hit the back of the guy who hit him early.

How can we take you seriously if you don't know what is going on?

Holliday? LOL The guy fumbles more than my brother in law reaching for the check.

What's your brother-in-law's 40 time?

Get someone that does not fuging fumble. Get Cribbs or that white guy that used to play for the Titans.

haha you people. Josh Cribbs has 33 fumbles. If he was on the Panthers you guys would be trying to run him out of town, too, in favor of some other mythical non-fumbling PR.

They. All. fuging. Fumble.
