I think this play was the turning point in the game.  After that missed tackle and long run.

 

TD went crazy.  The man was possessed.  He wasn't just tackling, he was crushing people.  Some of the hits he had after that missed tackle I could feel.

 

Luke and TD shift to a gear that we need to stay in.  Our defense turned out a great second half and it was because of the intensity of these two LBers.

 

 

Anybody else notice the change after that missed tackle?

I've yet to watch the game off my DVR and I missed whatever tackle you're referring to live, but I noticed a fire in TD and Luke yesterday that I haven't seen much before and that's saying something... I saw both of them just put punishing hits on guys yesterday that normal men would not have gotten up from.

Yes, the same play where the ball was snapped 2 seconds after the playclock hit 0.

TD was in the right spot, tried to tackle and Forte (who is a top 5 RB in the league) made a play to get away.  That stuff happens.

 

The fact TD got himself fired up and on a mission is very telling of the kind of guy/player he is.

Yes that was it.  TD hit him good but Forte Lowered his shoulder and bounce off.  It pissed TD off.

It looked like our defense that won the first two games.  Hard hitting and takeaways.  Hopefully, it doesn't take a half of ass whooping to get us going.
