That one throw Newtons n threw to KB to the endzone where he failed to locate the ball catchable? If it was then it truly wasnt KB's day and im sure on most days that would have been a TD catch.

It wasn't catchable for the average WR, but it did appear like KB could have caught it. Would have to see it again tho.

He shouldn't have been benched and you're blowing it way out of proportion. He had a bad game it happens.

Thanks for the perspective. Some people expect perfection.

A lot of veterans on a weekly basis have Benjamin's performance this past Sunday more often than not.

And you do not take a presence like Benjamin off the field. He keeps the secondary honest. You keep passing it to Benjamin even if he drops it to open up the running game.

It looked like it went of his hands the last minute he tried to turn his body but I couldnt gage the distance of the ball from the short replay clip. Regardless Fuller was on him all game and he had a lot of safety help the whole game. KB is gonna be given the proverbial baptism under fire this season since he is the one of the Panthers main offensive weapon.

Yeah I agree. KB is getting a lot of attention from defenses and he really helps open things up for Olsen.

This is the fundament difference between a guy like kb and lafell. Lafell didnt bring any upside. We wouldnt even dare to put him in a position of a jump ball scenario.

If you are going to have fundamental flaws as a receiver you need to have the ability to make up for it (which kb does). Kb is still just a rookie, hes got a lot to learn with a high ceiling. Lafell had 4 seasons here and never showed much improvement.

11 targets, 3 receptions, 3 drops, 1 fumble, was his final Stat line, I think?

Am I? That is LaFell-esque. He should've been benched. I don't want to hear. Kelvin lost his composure the same way White did last week.

Initially I disagreed with you until I read this post.  Hes a young kid, perhaps he got caught up in the hype with the pepsi performer etc.  He had an awful game, he's also had some key drops last game?  I do agree, a message should have been sent.
