Official Panthers - Bears Gameday Thread

I'm sorry, but we won because of two reasons. 1) We let cam play call from the line on a couple drives and that works for us. 2) The Bears crapped the bed with turnovers that gave us points without much effort.

Shula is horrible and should be fired.

The game was ours from the start. Cutler was already lost.

We killed ourselves, but found the way back to win the game. We were a better team.

I think if Shula would start calling a more efficient and short gameplan, with a couple of down-the-field plays mixed in, we'd be better off as a team and he'd get less hate on here overall.

It's the WTF calls that make us all doubt him. He's just too predictable at this point, and needs to get drives going with less run-run-pass-punt moments. He has called some good drives, but he's also called some drives that leaves everyone wondering what he's doing, including announcers, experts, and guys who breakdown the game tape. I think he'd be fine if he could just put some rhyme and reason into what he calls.

What were you watching?

The game in which we put up 24 points up despite horrid first half execution on the part of our offense.

Certainly there were several baffling play calls, but there isn't an offensive coordinator in the league who doesn't get some wrong.  I am not a big fan of Shula, but almost any unbiased observer watching todays game would give him some credit for helping turn the game around.

While true, we're still on shaky ground. If this had been Philly, we would have been blown out again. We need to start playing better in the first half again.

I'm not quite as sure about getting blown out. Forte is a great running back (although not quite as good as Shady). Also, Chicago definitely has better wide receivers than Philly. While Philly's tempo may have gotten us, I feel that our D could have stopped anyone the way they played that second half. Luke and TD were playing possessed.

I'm hoping that the second half Panthers are the ones that will carry over throughout the season.
