Stephen Hill

I've said it a million times, we have absolutely no speed on offense. Couldn't he help out playing a catching RB on a play or two, or taking an end around handoff, just to try to open something up?

Why do people think you can just throw any fast receiver at RB and it will work?

Stephen Hill isn't good enough to the point where he is worth wasting a roster spot just for one reverse play.

And while Stephen Hill runs a fast 40 time, he does not play up to that speed on the field.  Look no further than Cordarrelle Patterson (4.42).  Stephen Hill ran a faster 40 at 4.36 but when you watch both of them play, Patterson SMOKES Hill on the field.

Stephen Hill would not add speed to this offense because he does not play up to his speed on the field because he has a poor understanding of the game.  In all likelihood, he is nothing more than a Troy Williamson and will be out of the league soon.

Man I wanted Patterson bad from that draft. Glad we got star but damn. The dude is a straight up beast.

Why do people here seem to be under the impression that this guy has some kind of learning deficiency?

He contributed as a young player on a terrible Jets offense. He hasnt been brought up because we have other talent at the position on the roster.

Not because he's some JUCO UDFA with measurables from Spain trying to get a grasp on just what shape the football in question actually is.

"Gee Coach Ricky, are you SURE it's not supposed to be spherical?"

He's crazy athletic, but is a nice returner only. Really been a bad receiver so far. A bigger, poor man Percy Harvin. Only thing he's been able to do offensively is running off sweep.

The NFL is changing, but gah I hate seeing these hybrid WR/RB. They bring a lot to special team, but are so raw playing wide receiver.

It's why I'm not on the Ty Montgomery wagon. We need to give Cam legitimate WRs, not these fancy/flashy guy. KB alone already making Cam look a lot better.

I just had some wishful thinking, hoping some kind of spark of any kind on offense could help.

Man i wanted Strong to continue to fly under the radar so we could have a chance at him but it looks like that isnt gonna happen anymore. He will probably go really high now.
