PFF split on who wins. Note that of their 5 guys with an over-56% win pct on their picks, 3 of 5 picked Panthers. Note that the only one with a below .500 win pct on his picks picked the Bears, so that's a pick for the Panthers being he is more often wrong than right

Bears

Gordon - 63.9% win pct on his picks

Neil - 57.4% win pct on his picks

Nathan - 55.7% win pct on his picks

Ben - 50.8% win pct on his picks

Rick - 49.2% win pct on his picks

Panthers

Steve - 62.3% win pct on his picks

Khaled - 59.0% win pct on his picks

Sam - 57.4% win pct on his picks

the only player for either team that made last week's PFF All-Star Team of the Week: Week 4 was:

"Tight End: Martellus Bennett, CHI - ( +6.4 ) 134 yards through the air, three missed tackles forced, and a fine day as a run blocker. Simply put, one of the best performances you’ll see by a tight end all year."

the 6-7/248 Bennett (age 27), who nicknamed himself “The Black Unicorn,” is leading the Bears in receiving yards and receiving yards per game (73.8) this season and he is #2 on the Bears in total TDs with 4, one behind Brandon Marshall. He is #2 on the Bears in yards per reception (10.2) behind only Alshon Jeffery

last season Bennett caught for:

759 yds - #3 on team

11.7 yards/rec - #3 on team

5 TDs - #3 on team

PFF:

Chicago Bears: No quarterback has more passing yards in the red zone than Jay Cutler. He has completed 16 of 28 passes for 133 yards for 10 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Carolina Panthers: Of Cam Newton’s incomplete passes, none have been because of an underthrow. He is one of six starting quarterbacks to say that, but he is the one with the most passing attempts.

Kelvin Benjamin against Kyle Fuller is the match up to exploit on the Bears.

Fuller is great in zone when he can watch the QB. He is average in man coverage and horrible in man coverage against big receivers. Fulller is all finesse. He does not have the strength to compete with stronger receivers.

The safety helping out Fuller over the top would be Ryan Mundy who is known for overextending himself on fakes.

Run Benjamin and Olsen together on Fuller's side. Use play action to the opposite side of Benjamin, or pump fakes to RBs out of the backfield or Cotchery on a post to pull Mundy. He bites a lot. When you pull the safety away from Benjamin you will get 1 of 2 things out of Fuller. He will play zone, read Cam, and split between Olsen and Benjamin, or he will have to pick up Benjamin deep. If you get Fuller on Benjamin's hip going down field that is a jump ball win for Benjamin. If you get Fuller sitting in a zone splitting Olsen and Benjamin, that is a deep shoulder fade to Benjamin. The deep fade is Benjamin's strength. Use Olsen in the seams to keep Mundy to the inside of the hashes which will isolate Benjamin on Fuller. If Fuller presses Benjamin, this is a mismatch as Benjamin will toss Fuller in the first 5 yards. In this case, run an 8 yard out.

Fuller wins on slants, comebacks, hitches, curls, and digs. No timing patterns to Fullers side. That is what he spends 80% of his time looking for during the game.

Exploit this and the Panthers offense puts up 30+ points. Ignore this and enjoy the loss.
