I would take a QB like Goff over any QB the Panthers have played since Cam. There are very few elite QB’s right now: Mahomes, Burrow, Allen might be about it. Stafford was elite but not sure he still is. There are others that could one day have a possibility to be elite. -
i have a very small sliver of hope that he might be trending that direction, but no way would i look ahead into the offseason thinking that he should be the guy we go into next season with. i haven't seen nearly enough and i seriously doubt we will get close to that point. -

Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
