I stumbled into an actual witch shop today in Huntersville. It was the real deal, not a Halloween gimmick.

Your opinions on this? Is it any more or less valid a religion than any of the mainstream religions?

 

Just as dumb as any of the other religions, so just as valid/invalid as the rest. Out of curiosity, were they hot, slutty witches, or crunchy, patchouli scented ones?.

There's a coven of Wiccans who live near me, they always allow people over to their house on Halloween to watch them do their rituals around standing stones and stuff. I've never been, but I've heard it's pretty strange. 

 

Other than that, I can't really say I know. 

 

Wiccans believe in the rule of 3 (or power of 3 or whatever it's called), so if it is real, it actually might be helpful. They might start slinging out some cure spells to get that karma back three times over.

when my wife and i worked at the children's home, we had this one girl living with us who came from a family of voodoo practioners and she had this one little doll she told the other kids was her voodoo doll. one day just out of the blue while she was serving some punishment (pretty much just sitting at a table all afternoon, not allowed to talk to anyone) she asks me if i had gotten a call from a debt collector that day. i said no and she looked pretty disappointed. i'm guessing that she had tried to cast some spell on me that failed. i can't think of any other reason for that little exchange and her reaction.
