Holding is a spot foul now?

Always has been, but offensive linemen are most commonly called for it and when it happens behind the line of scrimmage the penalty is ten yds. from the line of scrimmage.

He manhandled him because he held the heck out of him.  That is 100% called in games.  

 

I like Williams.  Hope he succeeds.  But he really gets overrated/over-hyped around here.  

 

Definitely holding on that block.

 

But he doesn't hold every play. I just love his physicality and nastiness. You need those guys on the field when you have em. He can learn to move his hands inside. Harder to teach big, strong and mean.

There is nothing wrong with holding. The championship teams do it all the time. Learning how to get away with it is the key. Any offensive linemen who does not hold will hold a team back.

I see nothing worse than what HASN'T been called on the Panthers. But we have horrible calls, so it's probably a holding.

We really need to get him on the field and start developing him. He's big, tough, catches and blocks. If we're gonna get waxed again, at least start developing guys with obvious potential. We don't have to wait for injuries to get him involved.
