Until we have a defensive tackle that offenses bat an eye at, I'm not enthusiastic.

meh...every other aspect of the team is solid (well, not including the return game but we have decent options).

we can win a lot of games with what we have. the pass rush will be good who we have. it is the run D that i have problems with. it won't be big gains but it will still be troublesome.

we need that big body in the middle and lewis is right....that is too hard to replace. there are very few in the league that can handle or do what kemo does as far as stuffing things. we can/will make do with what we have but it will take a little time to get that shored up.

other than that, though, i have a lot of confidence in what we can do.

After going 12-4 last season, and getting spanked in the first playoff game, my expectations are low for this season. No excitement.

12-4 is the regular season record of a team that should be in the Super Bowl.

Odds are they will not go 12-4 this season, so I don't know what to expect. If 12-4 doesn't mean anything, then what does.

12-4 is the regular season record of a team that should be in the Super Bowl.

Odds are they will not go 12-4 this season, so I don't know what to expect. If 12-4 doesn't mean anything, then what does.

If you cannot get excited about the possibility of back to back winning seasons, or a new DC that utilizes the speed and talent of individual players, or having the best running game in the NFL, or the best WR in the NFL, or one of the best linebacking corps in the NFL...then you truly cannot be a fan.

Heck, I get excited about any NFL season, regardless of how I good I think my Panthers are going to be. If you can't get excited, then please do us all a favor and don't call yourself a fan. Do us another favor and stop posting on this site.

You sound like a Detroit fan. We're fortunate to currently have one of the most talent-filled rosters in the short history of the Panthers. If you can't get behind a team like that, I'd like to know which Panthers teams you have had faith in.
