Very funny, but I must say that most popular food in Chicago is absolutely delish.

 

Deep dish pizza isn't as good as Manhattan-style thin slice, but it is unique and deserving of occasional enjoyment.  Simply put, it is overrated, but if done right it can be a nice change up.

 

Chicago style hot dogs are absolutely amazing though.  They have a unique kick, great texture, high quality ingredients and are extremely satisfying. Their selections of other foods to top with fresh cilantro, relish and giardiniera are really freakin tasty too.

 

Chicago also actually has a simple, efficient and overall good public transportation system.  Lot of blonde women with an emphasis on good lookin legs.  The beaches on the lake are pretty nice too.

 

Back to the food though, the Chicago palette is significantly better than most big cities with food traditions.  Philly cheese steaks, for instance, are disgusting.  This is mostly because the recommended places to get a "real" philly cheese steak use cheeze wiz, abhorrent quality onions and stale tasteless bread.

 

Basically, so long as the Panthers aren't playing the Bears, I really recommend visiting Chicago.
