But....anyone who enjoys watching a swim meet where they don't have a kid swimming should SERIOUSLY be tested.  They are potentially a danger to society....those meets are killer. 

 

They last for DAYS.

This is always inexcusable.

Fuzz was not insulting me (I don't think so anyway).  My kids (especially my oldest son) is a year-round competitive swimmer who competes at the state and regional championship level.

 

However, the only swimming that I watch are the meets that they compete in.

 

Outside of a parent, I could not imagine anyone being entertained by watching a swim meet.

 

Totally wasn't.

 

 

I thought that I remembered that you had a kid that swam at a high level.

 

 

Swimming would be a tough thing to be a "fan" of if kids weren't involved.

Swimming would be a tough thing to be a "fan" of if kids weren't involved.

 

Actually many of the races are very exciting....very competitive.

 

The problem is that a session will last 5 hours and your kid will swim 3 events in that session.

 

So, you sit for over an hour to see them swim for a minute or two.

 

Thank god for wifi at all of the university pools.
