Melvin is a monster, but we have so much money tied into RBs right now, it's hard to imagine we use a top pick, and subsequently more money, on the RB position.

Sadly, our RBs will look the same next year. A hurt Stewart, a fat Tolbert, and random cast-offs. DWill may be the only one who won't be on the team.

Dwayne Harris would be an excellent FA pickup at WR.  He won't be expensive, he's a dynamic returner, and a very good slot receiver.

 

Not to double down on ECU receivers, but Justin Hardy is one of the best WR in the nation.  About to break Ryan Broyles all-time career reception record... the kid has freakishly large, amazing hands.  Also a very good returner. 

 

Either/both of these guys would instantly change the Panthers offense.  Granted, we need a vet #2 receiver behind Kelvin, IMO.
