I don't have our current cap #, but based on spotrac figures next year for players like CJ, Stewart, Willams, Davis, etc, we have some tough decisions to make in 2015 and 2016. Any possibly upgrades to the OL are going to need to be made through the draft in all likelihood.

through the draft I think is how it should be for us. This year has multiple top 10 pick quality OTs. We need to snag one from this class.

Problem is we have contracts coming up for Cam, and Luke. So the window gets smaller and smaller to keep this group while having the cap space to also improve on it as well. People talk about the tv deal possibly raising the cap, but there's no guarantees there obviously.

that's why I believe we ought to get the OTs in the draft and RB to stay cheaper there to keep cam and Luke & stay younger and cheaper in other areas. Our DBs can continue to be poor but we have to have the elite front 7 performance like last year's to mask the deficiencies of the DBs.

Next year FA is terribly weak but the OT class should be deep if most of the guys do come out. I would feel confident enough to take Gurley or Melvin in the 1st, and grab an OT in the 2nd. Another one or two later in the draft as well.

This year is going to be be great for Cam developing his pocket passing. Next year when he can run again, he'll be that much more deadly through the air.

Let's just pass on him bc of some off conditioning issues. Forget that we have serious problem at both OT positions.

i was campaigning for him and kelvin the whole time. Seantrel had all the physical tools and skills to be good but people pass because of some conditioning/character issues. The matter of the fact is talent wins games and we shouldve taken seantrel.

I just wanna know what Cam's 14mil (if I'm correct) for next year would do to our cap. I guess we would still be hand strapped? Pretty much trading Hardy's for Cam's next year?

I haven't updated it lately so some of the IR moves and such might change the numbers slightly.

Have you check out Ereck Flowers?? Carolina fans and fuggn Dave Gettleman better start figuring out who this bad boy is.

Kid is a massive mauler with damn good feet, and runs well. The damn reason why Henderson wasn't the LT at Miami.

Flowers is the reason why I would feel damn confident taking Gurley or Gordon in the 1st over one of the high ranked OT. I would put Flowers along with La'el Collins. If we could get Flowers in the 2nd, Cam will live to see another day. We as fans will live to see another day. I'm just afraid that Flowers might be a 1st rounder next year.
