It wasn't an insult. Zod was just mad I made a joke in his serious thread. I saw multiple posts along the same lines as mine while I was banned too.

It's no secret how bad MadHatter insults everyone. Throwing around vulgarities at people any chance he gets. He's been doing it for years, but yet is still allowed to continue to post. He did it this past Sunday to me and others.

I'm sure Zod knows about him. Everyone else seems to know about him according to the amount of pie. I didn't just make some joke about an angel poster that everyone loves for the hell of it. I make a joke about a bully. A bully that is well known around here. I get banned.

My ban had nothing to do with tightening the rules. The only thing it did was show everyone not to joke around when a mod makes a serious thread. I just hope there is more concern over other posters that vulgarly attack others on a regular basis than what I did.

this is just another repeat of the cycle. The truth is everybody acts like a jackass from time to time on this forum and tries to belittle others in their own way. And then Zod looks at the forum and contemplates the existence of the human race and ultimately settles on the conclusion that moderating has gotten too lax and needs to tighten up. Months from now it'll get lax again and the insidious nature of poster bashing embers will re-ignite.

You have a point but your delivery was poor and ill-timed. He may have even had madhatter's (and also probably my own lol) posts in mind when he said it. But you don't just go into a thread and make a quip in his face and give him an opportunity to make an example out of you. Just some strategic advice.

      Agreed on all counts. The thread just read a bit like the Rhule deference that was here early on, and especially in the back and forth with Bridgewater where everyone sided with Rhule and staff over Teddy just because they hated Teddy's play. Look how that turned out.
