I didn't consider that an insult but I don't make the calls here. However, MadHatter – while being a friend of the Huddle and therefore probably granted a much longer leash than nearly anyone else – has insulted more posters than just about anyone I've seen in the past couple years. If I were to say half of what he's said to me in a current thread I'd be banned for a long time, but part of running this place is you have the right to pick who gets kicked and who doesn't.

 

I rarely post in game threads, so if it's worse there I just don't see it.

It wasn't an insult. Zod was just mad I made a joke in his serious thread. I saw multiple posts along the same lines as mine while I was banned too.

It's no secret how bad MadHatter insults everyone. Throwing around vulgarities at people any chance he gets. He's been doing it for years, but yet is still allowed to continue to post. He did it this past Sunday to me and others.

I'm sure Zod knows about him. Everyone else seems to know about him according to the amount of pie. I didn't just make some joke about an angel poster that everyone loves for the hell of it. I make a joke about a bully. A bully that is well known around here. I get banned.

My ban had nothing to do with tightening the rules. The only thing it did was show everyone not to joke around when a mod makes a serious thread. I just hope there is more concern over other posters that vulgarly attack others on a regular basis than what I did.

Hatter is only tough behind the keyboard from what I understand.  Everyone goes on about what a great guy he is at the tailgates.  I've intentionally stayed away from the tailgates specifically because of MadHatter.  I don't want that POS coming up to me acting all nice when I know he is off balance mentally.  The irony of you being banned for insulting him is a complete joke.

That means nothing when he is just a plain bully online. We don't have the pleasure to meet him. Only his persona on the huddle. It doesn't matter how nice he is in real life when he is posting vulgarities at others online. So we're just going to tell people that receive these kinds of attacks to just put that poster on ignore now? How about we deal with him and posters like him instead of banning those that express the nature of the attacker's posts?

You're talking about something completely different. I'm not talking about simply just disagreeing with someone a lot. Panthro doesn't go on profanity filled attacks on other posters.
