Cracking Down on this Forum

Well they shouldn't be. I can understand someone not constantly monitoring this site, but they should be looking after the members, if it wasn't for members, no forum exists. Need to set up a time schedule for MOD's. Need guys to be on point, just like a team.

 

Well one nice thing would be to have the mods check their PMs or the "report button reports" at least once a day as part of the requirements for being a mod. Also they should be required to respond to PMs that deal with personal attacks or insults.

One of the reasons I love this site is because it isn't over moderated. I think they strike a good balance of stepping in with the ban hammer if it goes too far or gets too personal and yet allowing people to speak their mind

But hoping mods step in because someone teases you or insults you is kinda weak. The Huddle has always been a little bit of survival of the fittest. One of the reasons it is a great site. TRD tried to bury me with insults when I first starting posting here. I am still here and he is smoking Matt Moore's pole somewhere else

Agree 100%. They don't do that now, I remember in the past personal messaging Mods regarding complaints and no response. I thought that's why they are here in the first place, like I said, wouldn't happen on my forum.

You mean hoping they don't step in and give YOU a warning for responding back? That's what is weak.

Don't have suck it up. You can defend yourself and your thoughts without stooping to some jackass's level. Or just ignore them and respond to the posters who engage in meaningful discussions.

Survival of the fittest or just those that like to bicker and insult 24 hours a day stay and those that want legitimate non reactionary discussion get bored and leave?
